About the Class - Year 4

Welcome to Year 4 where we like to learn and work hard, whilst having fun in the process. Mrs Fisher is the class teacher and Mrs Wilford, Mrs Lea and Mrs Millard are our teaching assistants.

In our class we enjoy the challenge of learning new things and trying hard to improve our work, always thinking about whether it is the best we can do. We are learning that it is okay to get things wrong - and to try things again. We work hard and know that sometimes we need to try things several times to get it right. We enjoy collecting house-points and look forward to the weekly celebration assembly to find out which team has won and who has won the Great Work of the Week and Star of the Week awards. In our class we enjoy woring across a currciular theme, using our Maths skills in Science and putting our writing skills to test in History and Geography.

We look forward to special days and trips out. In the Summer term, we go to Woodrow High House for a 2 night residential trip, where we have fun trying new opportiunties including: orienteering, low ropes, nightline and raft building and racing.

In our class we are beginning to take on roles of responsibility; including class councillors and learning table learning leaders.
